Sold as a single-player experience
This is not a rumour or a guess. Two separate official sources say it, in almost the same words.
- Take-Two’s pre-order press release — the game “features a single-player experience”.
- PlayStation’s official FAQ — same wording.
What that does not say: that online will never come. Rockstar has announced nothing about a multiplayer mode, in either direction. Anyone telling you GTA Online 2 launches with the game, or that it has been cancelled, is guessing.
What that looks like in practice
Four things we found, and where to check them
Every one of these is a frame from a Rockstar video at a named second. That is the whole method — open the trailer, go to the timestamp, and see whether we are telling the truth.
Extended Look, 18:29 — a coat hanger, a head and a car under the stars.
Trailer 2, 00:36 — VCI Airport, Ambrosia, Port VC, Downtown, Southside, Peacock Bay.
Extended Look, 11:45 — stars, ammo and status all legible at once.
Extended Look, 09:00 — a shop sign with a 305 phone number under it.

What this site is
GTA VI Vice City Hub is a reference site for Grand Theft Auto VI. It is built and run by one fan. It is not affiliated with Rockstar Games.
Right now it holds 646 pages, 611 of them detail pages you can actually read: 200 vehicles, 40 weapons, 18 characters, 23 animals, 9 properties. There is a Leonida map, a radio station list, mission and side-mission pages, and 129 news items.
The part that matters most is the labelling. News items and database entries carry one of four tags:
- Confirmed — Rockstar or its store said it.
- Named — Rockstar itself printed the name (for example, a vehicle in its own edition copy), so it exists in the fiction; no logo or sign has been seen on screen.
- Reported — a credible outlet reported it. Rockstar has not confirmed it.
- Unverified — it is circulating. It may be nothing.
So the release date is Confirmed: November 19, 2026, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S; no PC version has been announced. Two editions, $79.99 standard and $99.99 Ultimate. Described as a single-player experience in Rockstar's pre-order announcement and PlayStation's FAQ. Anything softer than that gets tagged as softer than that.
No leaked footage or files are linked, hosted or embedded here, ever. Reporting about leaks is fine, and it is cited. No invented numbers. No product names Rockstar has not used — there is no "Trailer 3"; the Netflix special is called An Extended Look.
The Discord is open now. Read the rules, tap Approve, and every channel opens. Inside: sourced news, one extra detail a day, a tag wall for every platform, and 24/7 synthwave radio.
If you’ve never played it
If you have never played a Grand Theft Auto game
Grand Theft Auto is a series of video games made by Rockstar Games. Each one hands you a whole city and lets you go anywhere in it — drive, walk, follow the story or ignore it for an hour. The cities are invented but recognisable, and the tone is satire: they are making fun of America, not selling it to you.
GTA VI is the next one. It is set in Leonida, a fictional version of Florida, with Vice City at its centre. Rockstar has it releasing November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. No PC version has been announced. There are two editions — Standard at $79.99 and Ultimate at $99.99 — and Rockstar's pre-order announcement and PlayStation's FAQ both call it a single-player experience.
This site is where the detail lives. 646 pages, 611 of them individual entries: 200 vehicles, 40 weapons, 18 characters, 23 animals, 9 properties. 129 news items, each labelled Confirmed, Reported or Unverified, so you can see how solid a claim is before you repeat it. A Discord that is open now: sourced news, a tag wall for every platform, walkthroughs, a gallery and two 24/7 radio rooms.
It is a fan site, run by one fan. No connection to Rockstar Games.
Buying it for someone? GTA games are made for adults. Every earlier Grand Theft Auto on modern consoles has been rated M (Mature 17+) in North America and 18 in Europe; GTA VI is rated the same way: Rockstar’s own page shows ESRB Mature, and PlayStation’s UK store shows PEGI 18. It needs a PlayStation 5 or an Xbox Series X or Series S — older consoles and PCs will not run it.
Words you will see here
- GTA VI and GTA 6 — the same game. VI is the Roman numeral for 6.
- Pre-order — paying now so the game is yours on release day.
- Pre-load — downloading it early (from November 12) so you can play the moment it unlocks.
- Unlock time — the exact hour it becomes playable where you live.
- Standard / Ultimate — the two versions for sale; Ultimate adds extra in-game items.
- Confirmed / Reported / Unverified — how sure we are that something is true.
If you’re assessing it
What's here
646 pages. 611 of them are detail pages — one per database entry and news story, each carrying its own source. 200 vehicles. 40 weapons. 18 characters. 23 animals. 9 properties. Plus an interactive map and a cheats page covering every platform.
The news feed runs to 129 items, and every one carries a label. Confirmed means Rockstar or its store said it. Reported means a credible outlet published it and Rockstar has not confirmed it. Unverified means it is circulating and may be nothing. When the evidence moves, the label moves.
The dated facts come from Rockstar: November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S; no PC version has been announced. Two editions, Standard $79.99 and Ultimate $99.99. Described as a single-player experience in Rockstar's pre-order announcement and PlayStation's FAQ. The Discord is open now: sourced news, a tag wall, walkthroughs, a gallery and two 24/7 radio rooms.
Some things are deliberately absent:
- The two games are free. No ads, no account, nothing to install.
- Nothing is paywalled. Ko-fi exists and unlocks nothing.
- Leaked footage and files are never linked, hosted or embedded. Reporting about leaks is fine, and it is cited.
- No invented numbers. No product names Rockstar has not used.
This is an unofficial fan site with no connection to Rockstar Games.
The four labels, once more
They are on every news item, and they are the reason this site exists.
- Confirmed — Rockstar, or its store, said it.
- Named — Rockstar itself printed the name (for example, a vehicle in its own edition copy), so it exists in the fiction; no logo or sign has been seen on screen.
- Reported — a credible outlet published it. Rockstar has not confirmed it.
- Unverified — it is going around and may be nothing.
Most sites blur Reported and Unverified into one. Keeping them apart is why a story sometimes gets declined here — a single low-tier source with no corroboration does not run at all, and a claim that falls apart gets a follow-up saying so.
Unofficial fan site. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. Game screenshots and key art appear here for news and commentary. Rockstar’s Newswire is the only source that speaks for Rockstar.
