Rumour Reported

GamesBeat Reports GTA VI on PC in the First Three Months of 2027

Four anonymous industry sources, no comment from Rockstar. If true, it would be the quickest PC port in the series.

Reported — GamesBeat’s Alexander Lee wrote on October 13 that “Rockstar Games plans to release the PC version of Grand Theft Auto VI within the first three months of 2027.” We read the article.

The sourcing: four industry sources “familiar with the studio’s plans,” all anonymous. GamesBeat says a Rockstar representative did not respond to a request for comment.

Why it would matter: GTA V took about a year and a half to reach PC and Red Dead Redemption 2 about a year. A first-quarter 2027 launch would be a few months after the November 19 console release.

The limit of this story: Rockstar and Take-Two have announced GTA VI only for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. No PC version, date or platform has been confirmed. This is a report, not an announcement.
