GTA 6 Story Missions
The plot, the structure and the one mission Rockstar has actually named. Full walkthroughs land the day the game unlocks.
The setup
The plot
Rockstar's own synopsis: Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. When an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America — in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida, forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.
Confirmed list
Every named mission
There is exactly one. Any longer list you find is fabricated.
1. Prologue
The only mission title Rockstar has published. Nothing about its contents has been detailed.
2 — ??
Unrevealed. We'll fill this list in mission by mission as we play from 19 November.
Around 80–100 missions
GTA V shipped 69 story missions plus strangers and freaks. GTA 6's count is unannounced — treat any specific number as a guess.
How it plays
Mission structure
Two protagonists
Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. Lucia is the first playable woman in a mainline GTA. Their relationship is romantic and Rockstar has leaned on a Bonnie & Clyde framing.
Character switching
Rockstar continues the multiple- protagonist formula from GTA V. Trailer analysis points to switching between Jason and Lucia, though the exact input and any mid-mission restrictions are unconfirmed.
Heists
Trailer 2 shows robbery setups and getaways. Whether GTA V's crew-hiring and approach-picking system returns has not been stated.
Dynamic events
Rockstar has talked about a more reactive world. What that means mechanically is not yet documented.
Mission replay
Every recent GTA and Red Dead has let you replay finished missions. Expected, not confirmed.
Objectives / medals
GTA V had optional mission objectives and RDR2 had gold medals. If GTA 6 keeps a rating system, our guides will list every objective per mission.
